Torino vs Roma : Preview and Predictions
Although Roma have struggled somewhat this season in Serie A, they have been quite impressive in the Champions League.
The Giallorossi were not viewed as favorites to progress in a group that includes Chelsea and Atletico Madrid, with many writing them off and figuring that they should really aim to qualify for the Europa League.
However, after an impressive 3-3 draw with Chelsea, in which they came from 2-0 down, they surely deserve to be viewed as contenders to secure a spot in the round of 16, and full of confidence, they prepare to take on Torino on Sunday afternoon.
It was a great reaction from Roma, who ended up losing 1-0 to Napoli and have slipped down to fifth spot in the standings, although they do have a game in hand.
Meanwhile, Torino have hit a rough patch, which hasn’t been helped by an injury to star man Andrea Belotti. Draws with bad sides like Verona and Crotone, who are surely amongst the teams who will be battling the drop haven’t helped the Granata who deserve to be among the teams fighting for a European spot.
Roma, meanwhile, have been helped by the excellent form of Edin Dzeko, whose brace against Chelsea, including a fine volley helped the Giallorossi seal a point. Still Torino have been able to still grab goals here and there, and despite not having Belotti, one can expect them to score in front of their home fans in what should be an interesting match for fans and neutrals alike.

Torino vs Roma: Prediction
There have been over 2.5 goals in most of Torino’s games and there should be plenty in store here.
However, Roma should be able to edge this, especially after that fantastic game at Stamford Bridge, albeit Torino have still some attacking threat going forward without Belotti – despite winning just one of their last five games.
