The speed skating competition of the PyeongChang 2018 Olympics are scheduled to be held at the Gangneung Oval in Gangneung between 10 and 24 February 2018.

Short Track Speed Skating will have a lot of importance in the live stream schedule of the two significant broadcasters, NBC and EuroSport. Fans won’t have a very tough time looking up for a free live stream link as NBC, FOX, beIN Sports, EuroSport, ITV, BBC, Sky Sports, and many other broadcasters will be up with a live stream link on their respective websites. Apart from them, National Olympic Committees will also have a live stream link available for fans on their official sites.

The Short Track Speed Skating will kick start on 10th of February with the Women’s 3000m Relay in the morning and Women’s 500m and Men’s 1500m later in the day. On 13th February there will be Men’s 5000m Relay, Men’s 1000m and Women’s 500m. On 17th February there will be Men’s 1000m and Women’s 1500m. On 20th February, there will be Men’s 500m, Women’s 1000m, and women’s 3000m finals. On the last day, 22nd February, there will be Women’s 1000m, Men’s 500m, and Men’s 5000m relay finals.

There will be a total of 8 medal events taking place between 10th-22nd February at the 2018 Winter Olympic Games in Pyeongchang, South Korea. Individually both Men and women will be having a 500m, 1000m, and 1500m event each. Men will be having a 5000m relay while women will have a 3000m relay.  The qualification will be based on 2017-18 World Cup that took place in the fall of 2017.


The venue for Short Track Speed Skating will be the Gangneung Ice Arena in Gangneung, South Korea from 10th-22nd February. A maximum of 120 athletes (60 men, 60 women) will be allowed to compete at all the 8 medal events combined.
